Many of us are looking for ways to save money as the economy struggles.

For some, one answer could be making adjustments on your car insurance.

According to Kentucky law, you must have at least liability insurance on your vehicle, but officials with Kentucky Farm Bureau say a quick review of your insurance policy could help you save you hundreds.

“It could be that you are carrying comprehensive collision coverage on a vehicle that is now paid off and that you don't necessarily need to carry that coverage anymore and that could be a substantial savings,” Jeff Centers, Kentucky Farm Bureau.

Centers says he believes more and more people are driving less thanks to the high gas prices.

That could also help you save on your insurance policy.

insurance is a big rip off of people, and so is propery tax on your vehicle, you have to pay property tax every year on your vehicle ,why can't it be like alot of other states?pay the tax when you first purchase the car and that's it?now you have to pay the property tax on a car that you buy even if your not going to license it right away,i cannot wait untill the housing market rebounds so,so ican sell out and move from the state of taxation.thanks for your time,a soon to be ex kentuckian.
