The search for a mother and son ends in eastern Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police and a family member located 34-year-old Anne Horn and her eight year old son William Maynard around 12:30 Sunday afternoon.

They disappeared Tuesday without telling family where they were headed. Horn and Maynard are both from Martin County.

Investigators believe Horn was trying to get away from her boyfriend.

Both mother and son are said to be safe and sound.
