Charges have been filed in the case of an alleged drug ring that has been said to have brought in about two hundred thousand pills to Kentucky over several years.

The Herald Leader reports that a grand jury is charging a doctor and pharmacist in Ohio for allegedly taking part in the drug ring conspiracy to smuggle pain pills into Kentucky to be sold illegally.

The paper says that according to an indictment, the conspiracy was between Doctor and Pharmacist Lloyd S. Naramore, a Floyd County man - 45 year old Timothy Wayne Hall - and others.

The paper reports that Hall has already been charged in the case with operating a major drug ring.

My family has been ripped apart because of stupid doctors. My husband had knee surgery about 10 years ago. They gave him oxycotin for the pain and he became depended on them. Why in the world would such a stupid doctor do that other than get him hooked and keep him coming back. Then when it came out how addicting OC were he cut him off cold turkey. Then we lost our business and almost our home. He began buying them off the street. After several rehabs, I believe he his on the right track now, but the love and trust we had between us will never be the same. my kids will probably never forget and i won't either. i have called and reported several drug dealers in my area and nothing ever seems to get done. I do blame doctors for the outbreak of narcotics so easy to buy off the street. I also blame the court system for the continuing problem of drugs. Once they have been caught dealing lock them up and throw away the key. How many deaths has these people caused? future of kids??

That is good get the doctors, they can control who they are giving pills to and how many they are giving out, they don't have to get people hooked on them in the first place, they are now the first line of contact to get the drug of choice, they get people hooked and an addict will do almost anything, it is good that the doctors take the blame for what they are doing, even though still nothing much is done to them because they for the most part have the money to buy their way out of it, they lose very little really, still I say get the ones that can really stop it.
