We have an accident to tell you about this morning.

Officials with the Breathitt County Sheriff's Office tell us a coal truck and a car have collided near the Haddix community in Breathitt County.

The accident is near Highway 1110 and Highway 15. Kentucky State Police tells WYMT that the road is closed while they clean up the accident and will probably stay closed for a couple of hours. If you plan on traveling near that area, you might want to find an alternate route.

We have a crew on the way and will bring you more information as we get it.

HWY 15 OPENED BACK UP ABOUT FIFTEEN MINUTES AGO...

It was a flat bed truck and the front of it is accross the guardrail on the side coming from Jackson and it is blocking both lanes, I didn't see the other vehicle that was involved. The are re-routing people from 15 up1110 to 397 & down 30 and back on 15 and from 15 to 30, down 397 & back on1110 to 15. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this accident.
