One person is dead and another in jail after a drive by shooting.

Police arrested Jessie Dulaney for his role in the shoot-out in Floyd County Tuesday morning.

It happened in the Allen community.

Dulaney faces five counts of attempted murder.

Police say Jessie Dulaney was one of the shooters, but they're still investigating and sorting out who else was involved with the shooting.

Police say 30-year-old Sally Vance died from her injuries this morning at U.K. Medical Center.

Police say Jessie Dulaney was one of the shooters in a drive-by shooting in Allen early Tuesday morning.

Officials aren't releasing many details on Dulaney's role in the shooting, but say they had enough evidence to believe he was trying to kill some of the people at the house on Third Street.

“Witness interviews and just the investigation itself led to an issue of an arrest warrant for Mr. Dulaney,” Detective Ben Cramer said.

He's charged with five counts of attempted murder, but detectives say their investigation is not over.

Witnesses say four people were arguing on the front porch of the house when a car drove up with two people and they started firing.

Witnesses say the people on the porch fired back.

30 year old Sally Vance was shot and died from her injuries.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how she got shot and who could be responsible.

“We're trying to determine the nature of the death and how it came about and are there justifiable circumstances or are there not justifiable circumstances,” Lt. Sean Welch said.

Police say there could be more arrests and they're still looking for the motive that led to the gunshots.

A man was also shot, but police say he is out of the hospital.

Vance's body went to Frankfort for an autopsy.

No other names of suspects or people involved are being released at this time.
