A man is dead and two others were hurt after a car crash Tuesday afternoon.

It happened on U.S. 460 near the Millard Schools.

State police say 45 year old Vickie Reid crossed the center line and hit a car.

The passenger in that car, 38 year old Billy Coleman, died at the scene.

The driver, Charles Benny Justice, and Reid were flown to Holston Valley Hospital in Tennessee where they're listed in critical condition.
