Before you make your way around the mountains, we have a traffic note to pass along.

Police say Highway 80 near Martin is partially blocked because of a rock fall. Officials are on the scene directing traffic and say you should use caution if you plan on being in that area Thursday morning.

Mike, I've driven through the mountain cuts plenty of times. Daily, as a matter of fact. A lot of times it is due to them making straight cuts instead of step back cuts when building the roads. That comes back on the state transportation department, not Bush or McCain. Call your legislator and complain. Make them come out and look at dangerous areas, hold their feet to the fire. Don't sit back and blame someone and wait for others to take initiative, do something yourselves. Scream at Governor Beshear and Lt. Dan. Your legislator not listening to you? Vote them out. I look at the voter turnout numbers every election, and all I see is less than a fourth of eligible or registered voters turning out. Nothing can get done if people don't exercise their right to vote. And if you still don't agree, you can join Greg in running for the short bus. Don't forget your helmet.

Well you can bet McConnell and Bunning had nothing to do with improving Eastern KY.

This is a common occurrence & something needs to be done. There has been many wrecks & one young man lost his life due to these rock falls.

Greg, that's a moronic statement. Blame our state legislators, they are the one's who allocate money for the roads. Sheesh, blaming Bush/McCain on the roads? Hurry up, you can still catch the short bus if you put your helmet on while running.

thanks Bush / McCain for letting our roads crumble.
