Lexington, Ky. (August 20, 2008) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways announces that the Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway westbound from the Stoner-Ephesus Overpass to the Powell County Line will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday, August 25 at 9:00 A.M.

The reduction of lanes is necessary for roadway resurfacing and is expected to be complete by September 15, 2008. All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the work area.
