The investigation continues into the incident that nearly claimed the life of a 4-year-old Johnson County boy.

The child was found face down Monday in a neighbor’s pool in the Sitka community.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Department is handling the case and say the boy is still fighting for his life at a Huntington hospital.

A three year old boy was also found near the pool, but he was not injured.

The three year old and an older sister are now in the care of relatives.
