An Eastern Kentucky woman will spend 28 years in jail.

Tonya Henson pleaded guilty to killing Kenneth Clay at his home in Perry County in October 2007. Henson allegedly hit Clay over the head with a hammer, then stabbed him several times.

Henson was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to murder, tampering with physical evidence and theft by unlawful taking.

I personally think the case should have been investigated more thoroughly...Due to knowing Ms.Henson as a friend, She would have been in great danger or thretened to commit this crime...He the victim himself, had a rough reputation in this town...I think that the investigaters should have looked into the evidence more than they did....I don't think she had a fair trial...She could not have commited this vicious crime by herself being the small women she is...Maybe she plead guilty due to the fact she could have been threatened to protect her family and children...

I can remember this lady when I was really young. She would come to church with her grandparents and sing beautiful songs. She was taught a right way to live. She knows about a good way to live. I feel sorry for her family. I
