The woman accused in a Letcher County murder took the stand.
Rosemary McClain is charged with complicity to commit murder, robbery, and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the March 2005 death of Lisa Jenkins.
McClain pleaded not guilty and during emotional testimony said Shannon Garland is the one who killed Jenkins.
“Before she died she looked at me and she said, rosemary, tell my kids I love them and that's when he cut her throat,” McClain said.
Garland pleaded guilty to his role in the murder and testified against McClain.

I think that WYMT should have covered the story more...Although I dont think that the family has been able to talk to the media it will all come out in the end ...All we can do is pray for justice and that they will be dealt with by a higher power...The sad thing is that they was so many lies that no one will ever know the truth to what really happened and I think that it is sad for the family and what all they have went through to this point.

I think that this trial should of happenend three years ago instead of making this family wait and wonder why this happen!!!!!!!!! Our court system's are over log with so many cases, Lisa's children have to grow up without a mother and so far all of the news from this trial has come from the MOUNTIAN EAGLE. but all i've read is about the two people that killed Lisa Jenkins has anyone even bothered to talk to the family to hear their side!!!!!!!!!!!NO-NO-NO. I have and it hurts to have to set in a court room and listen to nothing but lies on top of lies, they were caught in so many. If you ask me I say they planned it and they are as guilty as [edited].

I don't care who killed her they both should have there throat cut. they took a mother from her children,so what they will say that they are crazy and get off. it is sick what they did they should fry for that. But God will take care of people like that.I will pray for them
