Two Harlan County men are recovering after getting into a fight at a local bar.

Police in Cumberland tell us that 56 year old Lester Halcomb and 43 year old James Ellis were at the Coal Miner's Tavern in Cumberland Friday night when the two began to fight. Police say Halcomb suffered injuries to his right eye that will require surgery. Ellis was treated for a stab wound from a pocket knife.

Both men were charged with assault and are due in court.
