Ohio officials started the process of applying for a governor's warrant to have Billy Crisp sent back to Ohio.

He was in court Monday afternoon for an extradition hearing and was identified as the person Ohio officials are looking for in a 1975 murder case.

The 59-year-old man turned himself into police last week in Pikeville.

Investigators believe Crisp killed his brother-in-law, Woodrow Perroud, at an Ohio rest area off U.S. 23 in 1975, possibly for insurance money.
