Ohio officials started the process of applying for a governor's warrant to have Billy Crisp sent back to Ohio.

He was in court Monday afternoon for an extradition hearing and was identified as the person Ohio officials are looking for in a 1975 murder case.

The 59-year-old man turned himself into police last week in Pikeville.

Investigators believe Crisp killed his brother-in-law, Woodrow Perroud, at an Ohio rest area off U.S. 23 in 1975, possibly for insurance money.

Anonymous, why are you so anonymous are you afraid to provide a name? I have a job and I frankly don't give a [edited] what you think of me. These boards are public and I'll post. And don't state that I haven't talked with Crisp or anyone because you don't know that. I haven't talked with the Perroud family, I don't know them. But I have Crisp and some local police here but I'm not in Ohio so I'd say, I haven't talked with them. Sure, I'll come to Ohio if I'm not in the hospital... But you won't know who I am so what difference does it make... Did you see the murder happen? Time will tell

Jasak I really think you need to lay off on this message board. You are very defensive towards people who think he is guilty yet you have no idea what kind of evidence the police have and what the whole case is about. You are going on hearsay just like everyone else. Have you talked to Mr. Crisp and got his side of the story? Have you talked to the Perroud family and got there side of the story? Have you talked to the police and got their story? The answer to all of those questions are NO. You are making a total fool of yourself on here. Frankly I am sick and tired of reading all of your opinions b/c that is what all of this is your opinion. When this case is moved to OHIO you can come and sit in the trial and listen to what you so called good friend has done in his life and how crooked the Crisp family is. You will be amazed. Since you don't have a job and you like to play Mr. Attoney at law I am sure you can make arrangements to be in ohio. We will see you there.
