LKLP hosted a workshop to help the elderly with their finances.

The class was Wednesday afternoon at the Hazard Perry County Senior Citizens Center. Seniors received credit counseling, something LKLP officials say is important for their age group.

"They are a very vulnerable population. They get taken advantage of more than anyone when it comes to identity theft issues or people trying to con them and run a scam on them," said Rick Baker with LKLP.

They also offered money management tips and showed them how to calculate their credit scores.
