The sheriff's department is looking for a man and woman who they believe kidnapped a 13-year old special needs child.

It happened at a home on Mountain View Road in Manchester Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff's deputies say the suspects are the child's mother and step-father, who have no custody rights.

They're looking for Ausencio Garcia, Tammy Garcia and Stephen Boyd Hibbard.

Deputies think the three could be headed to Mexico and they don't have a vehicle description.

If you have any information, you should call the Clay County Sheriff's Department at 606-598-3471.

I hate it when it's a custody dispute and gets all out of proportion. It's a MOTHER and her child, maybe she deserves custody after all she gave birth to him! Stanger abductions really need the Amber alerts more, and stiffer laws.
