A statewide search is underway for a sheriff's deputy police say shot and killed his ex-girlfriend. State Police say the victim died Sunday morning outside her home in the Smiths Grove Community of Warren County.

U.S. Marshals and Kentucky State Police are looking for 41-year-old Deputy Randall Creek. They focused much of their search Sunday afternoon in the Louisville area.

State Police say Deputy Creek went to Debbie Rediess, Smith's Grove home around 8 Sunday morning and got involved in a domestic dispute. with the victim.

A witness says during the argument, Creek shot and killed his former girlfriend outside of her residence and left the scene before emergency crews made it to the home. Creek is a veteran Simpson County Sheriff's Deputy and what led to the deadly shooting is not known.

"His background is as clean as a whistle, as most officers, you would expect their background to be clean. His is," said Trooper Todd Holder, Kentucky State Police.

Creek was seen leaving in a 1997 gray Ford Ranger with a military Kentucky tag: KY 13650. Creek has black hair and brown eyes, he's about 6'2" and weighs around 220-pounds.

Should you have contact with Randall Creek, police advise not to attempt to approach or apprehend him. Creek is believed to have in his possession at least one handgun and one shotgun.

If you have any information concerning this case or to the whereabouts of Randall A. Creek, please contact the Kentucky State Police Post in Bowling Green at (270) 782-2010 or 1-800-222-5555.

Ralph you act as though this is the norm for Ky Law Enforcement. Is obvious you have had a few run-ins with the police. With comments like that you truly show you ignorance.
