LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Two University of Kentucky football
players were hurt in the teams narrow 17-14 loss to Alabama on
Saturday.
The Louisville Courier-Journal reports that coach Rich Brooks
says starting right guard Jess Beets and backup Stuart Hines will
undergo MRI exams on Monday after suffering knee injuries. The
Wildcats are 4-1 overall and 0-1 in the Southeastern Conference.
UK tallied 35 yards rushing against Alabama. Still, Brooks says
the team's running woes can't be pinned solely on the offensive
line.
