Corbin Police are asking for your help to find the suspect in an overnight armed robbery attempt.

Police say at about 10:30pm Monday night a man carrying a long gun - possibly a rifle or shotgun - went into Swifty Gas Station on the Cumberland Falls Highway and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late twenties to early thirties, between 5’ 9” and 6 feet tall, and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

Police say the man left the store after the employee told him police had been notified. Nobody was hurt, and the man was last seen walking behind the gas station.
