An Eastern Kentucky jury returns a guilty verdict against a couple charged with the 2007 death of their son.

The trial for Robert and Karen Miller began Tuesday in Breathitt County.

Their son, Braxton, died June of last year from a methadone overdose.

The two were charged with wanton murder but after a short deliberation, the jury convicted them of second degree manslaughter.

As usual there is no justice for the children in this world. No one made them have the drugs in their home, it was their choice, and their actions cost an innocent child which depended on its parents to protect it from harm, but instead their own selfish needs cost one of God's beautiful innocent creations that they had been so blessed to have to die without having a chance in this world.

I think the parents should have been watching their child closer. They might not have intentionally let it happen but it still was their fault.
