Officials in Pike County are providing free internet service to help people during the tough economy.

They are installing free Wi-Fi service in all county parks and are putting in public computers in all county buildings and community centers.

The goal is to help people who can not afford internet service.

Officials believe it will help people look for jobs and help students with homework if they do not have the internet at home.
