City officials in the Harlan County community of Evarts tell Mountain News that a boil water advisory is in effect for all of North Evarts up to short town and along highway 38.

The advisory is due to a water main break.

Officials say the advisory is in effect until further notice.

Residents of Evarts, they mean boil your drinking water only, not your commode water.
