Grief counselors were on hand Monday at Pulaski County High School after a teacher was found dead on the school's campus Friday evening.

According to Somerset Police, 32-year-old Scott McAninch was at the school to do some work at the time of his death. They say a colleague of his found him unresponsive.

The Pulaski County Coroner determined that McAninch died of a pulmonary embolism. Based on those results, police say their case is essentially closed. The coroner says McAninch did have some prior health issues.

McAninch taught sophomore and junior English, and coached the Baseball team.

Funeral arrangments are set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill.

Many students and staff wore maroon ribbons Monday in memory of the teacher and coach of 10 years.

Pulaski County High School is also helping with a scholarship fund for McAninch's young son.
