6 Hurt In School Bus Crash
Six people were taken to the hospital Friday morning after a school bus and car collided on a Kentucky highway. Among the injured is a 13-year old boy who had to be cut from the wreckage.

Police say rain slick roads appear to have played a role in a school bus crash Friday morning in eastern Kentucky. A man lost control of his car on highway 550, in the Mousie community of Knott County. The car slide into the path of an oncoming school bus. The bus hit the car in the side.
13-year-old Joseph Short's principal at Hindman Elementary tells us he was flown out in critical condition. Police say the driver, 27-year-old Jonathan Feltner, also had life-threatening injuries. Joseph's older brother, James, and the three people on the bus were not seriously hurt.
At last check Jonathan Feltner was in serious condition. There's no update on Joseph Short's condition.

I am a sister to Joseph and his recovery is looking well. Hopes to be home soon. I am also the girlfriend to Jonathan which was the driver and he hasn't had as good look, yet he is improving slowly and I have faith in God that he'll have a successfull recovery also. Please everyone keep my family and Jonathan's family, as well, in there prayers.... Oh and to Jay from Lexington who decided to leave a very insensitive comment maybe one day you'll be sitting in my shoes and have to know that there's insensitive [edited]s out there who just really don't care about others and there families during times of need...so to all you out there who do have faith in God please pray for our families and for Jonathan to have a good recovery.

I am the young boy's brother. No, he didn't die. He suffered two punctured lungs and they had to remove his spleen. He's doing better now and is expected to make a full recovery.
