A vote proposing alcohol sales at a southern Kentucky resort motel went the other way.

The Corbin News Journal reports people in McCreary County voted against beer and wine sales at the Eagle Falls Resort at Cumberland Falls.

The measure failed by a vote of 74 to 55.

This is the second time in four years voters in the precinct have shot down the proposal.
