Coal mining forum held in Letcher County
Officials from all three Southeastern Kentucky Community and Technical Colleges held a forum Monday in Letcher County to discuss improvements to the coal industry.

Officials from all three Southeastern Kentucky Community and Technical Colleges held a forum Monday in Letcher County to discuss improvements to the coal industry.
Pine Mountain Grill in Whitesburg hosted the event.
One mine operator wants to see the schools help new miners get better educated for the job.
Leaders also discussed equipment operations as well as getting feedback from several coal companies.
