Congressman Hal Rogers is encouraging local fire departments throughout southern and eastern Kentucky to apply for a new competitive grant program to help with firehouse construction and renovation.
It is through the Assistance to Firefighters Fire Station Construction Grants within the Department of Homeland Security. It is designed to give financial assistance directly to fire departments to build or modify existing fire stations.
