FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo is urging
Kentucky's congressional delegation to vote against a global
warming bill that he says could devastate the state's economy.
Mongiardo contends the measure would dramatically increase
electric rates for families and businesses in Kentucky during the
next 10 years.
The lieutenant governor, a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate
next year, said the bill unfairly targets coal-rich Kentucky.

We have to vote for the right people to lead our land, whether they be dem. or rep. It's what is best for all of us, not who will put a few bucks in our pockets. The Lt. Gov. knew, as did we, much of what this wanna be POTUS stood for and what he wanted to do, so to now stand against something that we knew was coming, is just to save his own neck. I only hope that the U.S. Senate will DEFEAT this enormous tax bill....for the good of ALL of us! Vote for the person and what they stand for, NOT the party affiliation.
