The state will continue funding a lifeline to thousands of the sickest and most isolated patients.
Kentucky officials tell the Louisville Courier Journal that two million dollars in annual funding will go to the Kentucky Homeplace health-care program.
This comes after the state made cuts to the program late last year.
Homeplace is run by UK's Center for Excellence in Rural Health and provides 30-million dollars a year in free medicine and other services.
