FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Gov. Steve Beshear has appointed new
members to serve on Kentucky's university boards.
Among the new appointees to the University of Kentucky board are
Carol "Bill" Gatton of Kingsport, Tenn., the namesake for UK's
Gatton School of Business. Other appointments to the UK board
announced Monday were James W. Stuckert of Prospect and Barbara S. Young of Lexington.
The governor also appointed new board members to fill expiring
terms at Eastern Kentucky University, Kentucky State University,
Morehead State University, Murray State University, Northern
Kentucky University, University of Louisville, Western Kentucky
University, the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and
the Council on Postsecondary Education.
