A lawsuit says the Ten Commandments in the Jackson County courthouse should be taken down.
The American Civil Liberties Union and county resident Eugene Phillips Junior say nine copies of the biblical laws on the courthouse walls are unconstitutional.
This new lawsuit is the latest fight over copies of the commandments in government buildings in Kentucky.
The Lexington Herald Leader reports county Judge Executive William O. Smith, who is named in the suit, was not available for comment on Monday.

To Doris, I do agree with you on your first statement indeed. Without God, we can do nothing. For those of us who really have God living inside of us, we will really keep trusting in him because he is a God who knows everything about us. We need to always put God first. As far as the ten commandments go, I support them all the way. Proof of this is found in the bible (Exodus chapter 20). I believe the courthouse should keep the ten commandments up. It will be a good thing to keep God with you.

All Christians need to protest this. If we don't have God who do we have. They can make June Gay Awarness month but, we can't have the Ten Commandments. This is discrimination to the Christians. I am so tired of Christ being denied this is what is wrong with this world. We turned to him in the time of 911 and now we have forgotten. Shame on everyone.

This has always been the liberal way, force your beliefs on others because we are right. Get use to it with obama in office. We are losing rights everyday and most can not see it coming.
