The Bluegrass State could be getting millions of dollars to help fight the flu this fall.

Kentucky is eligible for nearly five million dollars in federal grants.

The money can be used to prepare for both the H1N1 flu virus as well as seasonal flu.

Most of the money will likely be used in health departments and hospitals.
