Daryl Hannah to appear in court
Hannah pleaded not guilty for obstructing and impeding traffic last month during a demonstration in front of a Massey Energy mine in Raleigh County.

Actress Daryl Hannah's next starring role will be in a West Virginia courtroom.
Hannah pleaded not guilty for obstructing and impeding traffic last month during a demonstration in front of a Massey Energy mine in Raleigh County.
Her hearing date in magistrate court has not been set. However, a Raleigh County magistrate clerk tells WSAZ.com that Hannah could lose her driver's license if she misses her hearing.
Hannah was one of 30 protesters arrested at the mine. They say the silo at the mine poses a health risk to students at a nearby elementary school.>

The magistrate should be more concerned with the real crimes of blasting and poisoning the people that live near the destructive mine operations. Coal is killing people--hooray for Daryl Hannah for standing up for our children. Shame on your pro coal ignorance--BTW My family has been here in WV for over 6 generations so don't call me an outsider--that is for the out of state and Russian coal companies. have

Way to go Raleigh Co magistrate. It's time to stop the "slap on the wrist" punishment for these activists or they will keep repeating the offense over and over until someone is hurt or killed on mining property.
