A southern Kentucky man is recovering at UK Medical Center, the victim of an assault outside a Pulaski County home.

Police say 28 year old Kenneth Gill was arrested Monday, accused of attacking 42 year old Ernie Wood at a home on Newell Avenue in the Bronston community.

Officers say the two men were arguing when the fight broke out and gill hit wood with a blunt instrument.

Gill is being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center on assault charges.
