Hey Mich098 from Texas. Maybe the killer has been listening to Bill Ayers and his theory to blow up federal buildings and destroy public property no matter who you hurt. Good old Bill help kill a cop in NY and got away with it. Is he one of those right wingers you talk about that clings to his bomb making materials??? Ayers participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, the United States Capitol building in 1971, and The Pentagon in 1972. Much of the controversy about Ayers during the decade since 2000 stems from an interview he gave to The New York Times on the occasion of the memoir's publication . The reporter quoted him as saying "I don't regret setting bombs" and "I feel we didn't do enough", and, when asked if he would "do it all again," as saying "I don't want to discount the possibility." Good Old Billy Ayers, right wing conspirator. Think about it!!!

This is a horrible thing that has happened. My heart goes out to this man and his family. I hate that something like this has yet again happened in Manchester. I hate that the people from Manchester are always labeled as uneducated hillbillies or druggies. I was born and raised there, and I have a four-year college degree, and a full time professional career. So no, not everyone is a doped up idiot like some people there. There are lots of good, honest people who live there, and it's a shame we are all labeled a certain way because of how SOME people choose to live their lives. Bad things happen everywhere, not just in Manchester.

This was a hooriable way to die, didn't the person or people who did this crime think about his family, I wish that the who ever done this get caught and get what they have coming. The world is not safe anymore, what did he do to deserve this nothing you took the lay into your own hand wake up people and smell the roses life does not revolve around you. God put us here for a reason and that is not to go and kill in cold blood that was stupid and wrong. I will keep in prayers that they will catch who one this to him and this is to the family may god keep you all safe and may he let the police find who done this to him Lord keep his family safe.

Way to go, Mich098, talk about "hate-mongering"...you fit the bill with your bigoted words..

Excuse me, but yes, someone knows the truth, the people or person that committed this crime! There is NO EXCUSE, for taking any other HUMANS LIFE! Don't use the news, radio or Gov for an Excuse either, are you so uncivilized or UN-evolved that you (CAN), find a reason for such a crime to be committed? Who ever committed this crime has brought Shame and Humiliation upon the Ky Folks, and we don't appreciate it!

Murder is a terrible, visious crime no matter where it happens. The alleged murderer/s should be punished to the full extent of the law! My heart goes out to this man's family and those who called him a friend. However, for people who blame Fox News or any cable news network by saying they are causing hate crimes is totally rediculous, and shows how those with closed minds and inability to FACE REALITY!! I find this very troubling and frightening. Perhaps those who choose to turn a blind eye to fair and comprehensive news reporting should occassionally listen to the stories that effect all Americans. I sometimes listen to mainstream media and am shocked NOT to hear reporting about very important news events. On a lighter note to some unenlightened people, "WAKE UP AMURICA!'

I took a load of freight to Brooklyn, New York a few years ago. I was waiting for dock workers to unload me and decided to walk down a couple of blocks to view the harbor and tugboats. The workers screamed for me to get back to the truck.."I was in NY and not in ky, that I could disappear and never be heard from again". Their english was broken but I got the point. It is dangerous everywhere you go..people need to use good judgement in what they do.

Not surprising when coming from a region where people cling desperately to their guns and religion and listen exclusively to hate mongers on the radio and tv. This is a volatile mix indeed. Guns, emotional religious intolerance and right wing ideology. God bless this man and his family and the devil take the hate mongers.

This is so sad!! I used to live in this area and no many people who live still live there. This is the third murder in this area in the last five years. I don't know if it is goverment or drug related and I don't understand why the police can't solve at least one of these murders!! Lord help them and be with the families!!

It is easy to just start throwing blame....but the fact is, NONE of you know the truth of what happened yet. Nobody does. It could have been any number of things, but I can see that the media does their job of programming you to lash out in the very direction they want you to. Give the govt and media a few weeks to work together, and they will come up with some more draconian laws to pass to take something else away from you. Wake up people, you are being had, daily.

You can't blame the actions of killers on what people discuss on television. No matter what people see or hear, they are responsible for their own actions, and anchormen from any television program can't be responsible. A possibility is that the census worker saw something during his work that people didn't want known, or hundreds of other possibilities. But, to blame the actions of killers on Fox News is ridiculous.

I agree totally with Mt. Child. I love Kentucky. The person talking about Clay County-LOOK around you, crimes are happening everywhere. My relatives came from Clay County, so I know, it isn't the only place where killing happen and the only dope den in the United states. Talk about spreading hate look at some of these posts!!!

Yet again, Clay County is an embarassment to Kentucky. If the dope isn't enough, now this. Hopefully the feds will handle this, and not the local police. Yes, in part I blame the anti-government movement of certain media for this.
