That's a bunch of crap! yeah people have died in car wrecks and other reasons in that amount of time..but the difference is..you can't "catch" a car wreck! Everybody knows when they get in a car they're taking a chance..but now we're taking a chance on our lives just getting around other people..or going to the doctors office! it is very different! I bet if one of your family members had died from it you wouldn't be acting like 29 deaths is not a big deal..never is until it's somebody YOU know!

I am very hurt by the lack of sensitivity for the victims that H1N1 has robbed of lives. I am 34 and a nursing student whose life was flipped upside down in a matter of a month. I spent a month in October in St. Jo's Hospital where I got EXCELLENT care and almost lost my life. I spent two solid weeks on a ventilator and trached and was expected not to make it period. Thanks be to God and to my Lung specialist who was very aggressive about my treatment that I made it. So when people say "oh it's not a big deal etc" YES IT IS. So many young people have been robbed. 1 LIFE IS TOO MANY REGARDLESS. I lost my education, my housing, my health, accrued tons of bills, and now have a very compromised immune system with lungs that have been partially removed. So to say that H1N1 is NOT serious is a understatement. Those who sit back and watch the news and make the comments about how it is all a big scare, I pray you never experience it for yourself. It is not fun at 34 to be on oxygen.
