While no official word has been heard, all signs seem to be pointing to a trip to Nashville and the Music City Bowl for the Wildcats.

The Tennessean in Nashville is quoting a source saying it's a done deal.

Several SEC teams are rumored to be headed to the Chic-Fil-A, Independence, and Liberty Bowl. That leaves the cats with the Music City Bowl.

If they do end up in that bowl game, it would be the third time in 4 years for Kentucky.

The cats won their previous two trips to Nashville.

The fans seem to enjoy the trip as well, the game in 2007 set the Music City Bowl record for attendance.

Officials at the Music City Bowl office said they will probably not make anything official until Wednesday.

As far as an ACC opponent they went on to say they will have to take the loser of the ACC Championship game, either Georgia Tech or Clemson, if a higher bowl doesn't select them.

Otherwise, it could be North Carolina or Miami.

U.K and football don't seem to be one and the same, maybe they should resort to a league they could actually be competive in.

Tom, had Coach Brooks not been the head of the team, they would have only won 2 or 3 games, because the previous coaches were horrible. You should be grateful that Coach Brooks has stuck around and built the program into what it has become. In retrospect, there are things that he may have been able to do better, but the man has gotten them this far, so quit crying about water under the bridge. He has built a solid base for the program and they are nearly ready to take the next step. You should be grateful to him for what he has done, instead you are whining about what he hasn't.

I understand where your coming from Tom but Cobb couldn't talk all the punishment that he would get if we gave him the ball everytime we needed to. Though I do not like the fact that we didn't come out in the "WildCobb" formation in our OT drive. That was a complete mistake.
