well the first poster hit it right on and so did number 4. we have been without our guys over Christmas and they have been working their Butts off from early in the morning until way after dark and we don't mind because there was a time when we needed help to. they will not even be here for New Years. But I do believe that AEP don't care and trust me if you think customers are at the bottom of the list so are the Contract Workers. Some of our guys slept 2 nights in their Trucks when the "accomodations" offered where a Cot in a overcrowded Gym with No Heat and No Water. Then Christmas Day they never got even 1 warm meal anywhere and had to eat Cereal bars. Nothing was Open and AEP did not give a crap if they ate or not. That was their Christmas Spirit. I'm sure glad we do not treat workers coming here that way. we always make sure they eat specially on a Holiday.

I would like to also thank all these men for leaving their families period, with or without the holidays. Before this storm even hit, I had already decided things were too tight for gift giving this year, i placed a plaque under our tree that said "Remember the CHRIST in Christmas". And as for the people angry at the workers, its not them, its some fat pop bellied jerk sitting behind a desk eating ho hos making the call to where the real men work!

As the Mom of two of the men from Missouri that traveled to Kentucky to help restore the power, I want to say thank you for appreciating their hard work. Their Christmas with their families has been postponed until after everyone in Kentucky gets their electricity back on.
