Johnson County sheriff's deputies find a mobile meth lab in the trunk of a car Wednesday in the Johns Creek area.

As deputies approached the car, they say two men and a woman got away. The woman, 18 year old Geneva S. McGinnis of Debord, was arrested a short time later. Thursday, 35 year old Steven M. Tackett of Paintsville was arrested at the Paul B. Hall Medical Center. He told deputies he injured himself trying to get away the day before.

McGinnis and Tackett both face meth related charges.

i would have to agree with the first post and say that i dont believie sshe is guilty of knowing about what was going on,so with that said you should get all the facts before charging her with this crime.

Ok...Yes..drugs are a problem.. yes drugs are bad... But, Geneva is an all around wonderful person and she had nothing to do with it.. You can call us liers, I really don't care..I know the truth.. The police department needs to do alot more investigation if you ask me..we could use some BETTER officers around here..... People all over are getting accused for stuff that isn't theirs...And yes some of them lie about everything..yet there are few that are honest...

Drugs in Johnson county are a great problem. We must be tough on all offenders. They should be prosecuted to the fullest. Thanks to the Sheriff's department and Paintsville police department.Keep busting labs and being tough on offenders!

The punishment should fit the crime. Meth labs are destroying our youth. These people deserve jail time. That the way to prevent this.
