HARROGATE, TN - The Lincoln Memorial University men's basketball team came back from seven points down at the half in Tuesday night's game with Lane College to capture a 75-65 win over the Dragons to improve to 4-1 on the year.

The Railsplitters got 16 second half points from sophomore foward D'Mario Curry (Detroit, MI) who finished the night with a game-high 22 points on the way to their fourth win of the year. Also in double figures was freshman walk-on forward Scott Erland (Pegram, TN) who hit 5-9 shots from the field, including 3-4 shots from behind the arc and 2-2 from the line to finish the game with 15 points, while guard Ryan Whitaker (Hazard, KY) was equally as solid outside the circle by hitting 3-4 shots from the arc and 2-3 from the free throw line.

The Lincoln Memorial University men forced Lane College into 24 turnovers in Tuesday's game and limited the Dragons to only 31.0% shooting from the field in the second half en route to handing the Dragons their first loss of the year.

The Railsplitters now prepare for this weekend's non-conference home bout with Peach Belt Conference opponent Georgia Southwestern at 4:00 p.m. The game will be a twin bill with the Lady Railsplitters who will host Pfeiffer University at 2:00 p.m. in the Tex Turner Arena.
