Get ready to start marking your calendars with basketball dates. The 2009-10 Kentucky men’s basketball schedule has been completed and will be released live Thursday on WYMT and WKYT.

UK and the Big Blue Sports Network will release the full schedule at 10 p.m. during a one-hour TV special. During the groundbreaking schedule show, WYMT and WKYT will release the entire non-conference and Southeastern Conference schedule. The show, which will have a similar feel to the CBS Selection Show in March, will provide fans with all the season’s dates, some tentative times and information on television coverage.

The one-hour special, which will be hosted by Dave Baker, will provide some brief analysis on each team, as well some interviews with the Wildcats and head coach John Calipari. Nowhere else will you be able to hear Coach Cal and the players talk about the 2009-10 schedule and the upcoming season.
