RICHMOND, Ky. – Former Eastern Kentucky University offensive lineman Sean Dumford signed a free agent deal with the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens late last week.
Dumford, a native of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, was a four-year starter on the Colonel offensive line with 45 consecutive starts. He made the transition from right tackle to left tackle as a junior. Dumford was a four-time All-OVC selection while earning first team honors in both 2007 and 2005. This past year, he was part of an offensive unit which produced 199.4 rushing yards per game, third most in the OVC.
Dumford will wear No. 68 for the Ravens and joins Antwaun Molden (Houston Texans) as members of the 2007 Colonel football team who have moved on to the NFL.
