Friends of a southern Kentucky soldier, killed in Afghanistan, have planned a tribute for him this weekend.

We're told 20-year-old Pfc. Dustin Napier died Sunday, after being shot during a volleyball game.

He was from Laurel County.

According to the "Tribute to Dustin Napier" Facebook page, a candlelight vigil and balloon release will be held Saturday night at 6 at South Laurel High School.

The page also says a bake sale will be held with proceeds going to his family.

Napier had just gotten married in October.
