More Tennessee donors gave blood on Wednesday, but Kentucky is still ahead, 2,079 to 2,007.
Big Blue Crush continues through Friday, and donors will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt and a coupon for a McDonald’s McCafe’ beverage. Donor center donors will also receive a movie pass to an area cinema.
Big Blue Crush helps ensure a sufficient blood supply for Kentucky patients during the Thanksgiving holiday and into December. The overall record between Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) and Medic Regional Blood Center in Knoxville is 12 to 12 with 1 tie.
