Ladies Nest Night fundraiser planned for October 9

Three Lexington businesswomen are hosting the Ladies Nest Night Fundraiser on Tuesday, October 9 at Fabulous Hats on Short Street. For a $35 ticket, guests will view holiday fashions from Etcetera and hats created by Anne Sawyer while enjoying appetizers and drinks. Hostesses Anne Sawyer and Jill Brown will offer a percentage of their sales to The Nest, Center for Women, Children & Families.
Patty Breeze of Breeze Financial LLC is the third hostess and organizer of the event. “This is a wonderful opportunity for women to buy a hat and outfit for Keeneland’s fall meet,” Breeze says.” We also want women to know their entire admittance fee will be donated to support the vital work of The Nest in Lexington. We’re hoping to raise between $3,500 and $5,000 with this event.”
The Nest—Center for Women, Children & Families is a local, nonprofit organization that promotes healing, stability and well-being of children and families through four programs: Self-Help Parenting, Domestic Violence Counseling, Crisis Care and Child Care.
The event will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Fabulous Hats, 500 West Short Street, (859) 231-7924. Purchase advance tickets at www.thenestlexington.org. For more information, contact Patty Breeze at patty@pattymbreeze.com, office: (859) 252-0225, or cell: (859) 753-7548.
