LONDON, Ky. (AP) - The Laurel County sheriff says a man doing his civic duty was victimized by thieves.
Sheriff John Root said a man on jury duty went home Wednesday to find his gas grill had been stolen from his front porch, 7 miles south of London.
Deputies got a good description of a suspect vehicle and two men seen in the area by a neighbor. The deputies were familiar with an older model truck fitting the description and drove to the home of the owner.
Officers found stolen goods and arrested 44-year-old Rodney D. Jones and 26-year-old Joshua L. Baker, both of the Lily community.
On Thursday, deputies found the grill at a pawn shop in Corbin and returned it to the owner, who was not identified by authorities.
