While Fayette Co. is not in session, the Living Arts & Science Center is!

It’s a Winter Wonderland of Creativity
at the Living Arts & Science Center!

Two Winter Break sessions for students in kindergarten through eighth grade will provide a variety of hands-on exploration in holiday creativity as well as art for anytime!

These two sessions will provide fun, educational, and interactive opportunities for students to dig deeply into various art forms and themes, and to experience and experiment with unique materials and projects. Classes include A Painter’s Process, Wild Things, Cool Candy Creations, Hawaii Kawaii, Art Aromatica, More MadScientists, Manga Magic, and much more! All classes are taught by professional artists and arts educators.

Classes are offered 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Students may take one or two classes or bring their lunch and stay the whole day in up to five unique classes! See the complete class schedule on our Web site, www.LASCLEX.org. To register for classes, simply call 859-252-5222 or download a registration form on the LASC Web site and fax or mail to the LASC. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted.

Individual and Family Memberships are also available which provide discounts on each class and on other purchases at the Living Arts & Science Center.

The Living Arts & Science Center
The Living Arts & Science Center was established in 1968 as a not-for-profit organization that provides creative and unique opportunities for exploration and education in the arts and sciences. The LASC now serves over 40,000 Kentuckians through art exhibits, an interactive discovery exhibit, over 400 arts and science classes and workshops for children and adults, and numerous special events for the community. In addition, the Living Arts and Science Center partners with schools, social service agencies, community centers and libraries to provide free educational art and science programs and classes for special needs, underserved and at-risk students.
