As the Corporate Sponsor of the area’s first-ever Teddy Bear Drive, Paul Miller Ford is proud to partner with the Lexington Center Museum & Gallery to make this a very merry & “beary” holiday for area children. The Teddy Bear Drive begins today, November 26, and continues through Sunday, December 22.
Inspired by the children’s book, “Polar, The Titanic Bear,” the Teddy Bear Drive is being held concurrent with the Titanic exhibit on display at the Lexington Center Museum & Gallery.
Simply by bringing a new teddy bear to Paul Miller Ford, 975 East New Circle Road, or to the Lexington Center Museum & Gallery, located at 430 West Vine Street, in downtown Lexington, you will receive a $2 off adult admission coupon to the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition.
With the assistance of WKYT-TV and its sister station WYMT-TV, and the team at Paul Miller, teddy bears will be wrapped and prepared for delivery to pediatric patients at regional St. Joseph Hospitals and to less fortunate children in Eastern Kentucky.
The mascot of this wonderful event is Titan, and at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, Paul Miller Ford will host “Story Hour with Titan and Santa.” Titan will have some fun adventures during the Teddy Bear Drive and everyone is invited to follow these adventures on the Facebook pages of Paul Miller Ford and the Lexington Center Museum & Gallery.
“On behalf of everyone at Paul Miller, we’re committed to making this a great holiday for as many children as possible,” J.P Miller, President and General Manager, said. “This is a great way to give back to the community and to share the holiday spirit throughout the Central and Eastern Kentucky areas.”
