LEXINGTON, Ky--Preston-Osborne received a Community Partner Award at The Salvation Army's Annual Appreciation Luncheon for helping create the LemonAid Day's website.
"We greatly appreciate this award and hope to continue working with The Salvation Army in striving to make a positive difference in the community," said Bill Michul, Creative Director of Preston-Osborne's award winning design team.
Beginning in 2007, LemonAid Day's purpose has been to give children an opportunity to manage lemonade stands during the month of July and donate their earnings to help homeless children lodging at The Salvation Army's Emergency Homeless Shelter. In 2011, participating children rose over $43,000 for this great cause.
