HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) Those who travel Combs Road in Hazard will need to find a different route to get where you’re going.
That’s because crews have the road shut down between both sets of ramps.
If weather cooperates, they have to have the collapsed pipe replaced by the end of this week.
Crews say it is one of the most heavily traveled parts of Perry County.
“It’s going to be a little different for [drivers], but they have other alternatives as far as other ways out to town or on the main road,” State Highway Superintendent Claude Cooper said.
Crews are working extended hours to help get the work done as soon as possible.
