An Eastern Kentucky toddler dies but so far, no charges are filed.

Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of two year old Kayla Elizabeth Mosley.

It happened in the Jenson Community in Bell County, just outside Pineville on Saturday.

Police still have more questions than answers about her death.

Police responded to a 911 call on Saturday afternoon that Mosley was unresponsive.

She was transported to the Pineville Community Hospital were she was pronounced dead.

Children's toys sit in the yard along with a swing that's only being pushed by the wind.

Police still don't know how Kayla Elizabeth Mosley died.

"We have autopsy results that are pending. Once those results come back we can continue with the investigation. It's still open," said Walt Meachum with Kentucky State Police Post 10.

While family members and neighbors didn't want to talk on camera, they say Mosley was a sweet little girl.

"Anytime you deal with a child it makes it hard...not only for the family but everyone involved. It's just a tough thing to deal with," said Meachum.

Police say they are not ruling out any possible cause of death.

They are not sure when they will get the results of the autopsy.

Family members and neighbors didn't want to give a photo of Mosley.
They just asked that the family have privacy during this difficult time.
